Our Inspiring Women in Business lunches invite Scotland's leading ladies to share their story of business success.

In June we are delighted to welcome Dawnne Mahmoud who is Deputy Group HR Director of Phoenix Group and HR Director of Standard Life Assurance, part of Phoenix Group.

At this event, guests will enjoy a welcome drink and two course lunch, as well as hearing Dawne’s inspiring story, with time at the end for some Q&A.

Dawnne is a highly accomplished HR director who has wealth of experience across public, private, voluntary, and financial services sectors. She joined Standard Life in 2010 and most recently played a vital role leading the HR transition of Standard Life in becoming part of Phoenix Group. Dawnne is known as a passionate, creative and strategic business and HR leader.  Colleague engagement is very important to Dawnne as is ensuring organisations stay relevant for colleagues.

Commenting on her current role, Dawnne has said ''The opportunity for HR to support the growth of Phoenix Group and make a real difference to colleagues and customers is significant. We have a passion for doing the right thing and our ambition as a business is huge, I am very excited to play my part.’

Dawnne will share a candid story of her career and her discovery that ordinariness can inspire.
