As capital city, Edinburgh will play a critical role in Scotland’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. Edinburgh’s recovery will depend on the protection and strengthening of key assets of the city, including our highly skilled workforce, world-class heritage, innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem and leading infrastructure and development projects.

Our new Sustainable Recovery panel series seeks to explore five key pillars which underpin the Sustainable Economic Recovery Plan proposed by City of Edinburgh Council to rebuild the city’s economy, and what the shape and pace of recovery may look like in each area.

This panel brings together a range of stakeholders to engage in a meaningful discussion on the role that Edinburgh's entrepreneurs and its vibrant business community will play in our economic recovery, and what is needed at a local and national level to support their growth. As well as this, we’ll hear an update from each panellist on the work of their organisation. On the day, we’ll be joined by:
  • Stephen Ingledew, CEO, Fintech Scotland
  • Les Bayne, Founder, Alba Arete
  • Jane Kennedy, Associate Director, TalentSpark, Eden Scott
  • Andrew Montague, Chief Executive Officer at ClearWater Hygiene Ltd
This video conversation will be delivered via Zoom. Once registered you'll be sent joining instructions
