We're delighted to be working with Edinburgh charity, Health in Mind to deliver a Mental Health Series over the coming weeks.

Each session will cover a specific dimension of Mental Health, this session will focus on Habits and Habit Formation.

During this session, Stuart Cameron will discuss the relevance of habits to our mental health. He'll explore ‘the anatomy of a habit’ and how we can use that information in order to develop new habits, or to try and break old habits. This discussion will be followed by a Q&A, and will cover:
  • The link between habits and mental health
  • The anatomy of a habit
  • How we can use that information in order to change our habits
Stuart Cameron is a Support and Development worker at Health in Mind, working withing the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team. He runs the MAPS Wellbeing and Self-Management Courses which explore ways in which people can better manage their mental health.

This series is supported by Parabola.

Health in Mind is Edinburgh’s mental health charity, we’ve been promoting positive mental health and wellbeing in Scotland since 1982. We do this through a wide range of services to support people and enable them to make a positive difference in their lives.
We focus on: early intervention community-based support (e.g. self-management groups, befriending); trauma support for those abused in childhood; and counselling.
We help some of the most excluded and vulnerable people in our society, and we rely on volunteers, fundraising and donations to help us do this.

This video webinar will be delivered via Zoom. Once registered you'll be sent joining instructions along with a delegate list for networking purposes.
