In our second Dinner series of the year, we welcome Steve Dunlop, CEO of Scottish Enterprise.

Steve will speak to our members about the economic opportunities and challenges Scotland is facing:
- Building a more Entrepreneurial Society
- A human Future – up to 230,000 jobs could be at risk from automation.
- Open data- a new age of enlightenment – Opening up our data could unlock unlimited innovation and opportunity and put Scotland at the centre of a new age of enlightenment.

Steve has spent over 30 years working to rebuild and regenerate local and national assets in order to grow the economy and support communities and families.

Just under a year ago Steve took the helm as CEO at Scottish Enterprise – Scotland’s national economic development agency – with a vision to create an economically vibrant Scotland that benefits those who call Scotland home and has a positive impact on the world stage.

Steve has become a leading public sector entrepreneur with a reputation for innovative and disruptive thinking in traditional environments. In roles across public service – from national infrastructure to local government – Steve has re-imagined some of Scotland’s most important industrial assets.

Held at the Royal Scots Club on Abercromby Place this event includes a two course meal with wine included and ample networking opportunities with some of Edinburgh's biggest leaders in business.
